SIA for Residential House, Roysambu, Nairobi

The Structural Integrity Assessment (SIA) for the Residential House in Roysambu, Nairobi, was commissioned by Mr. and Mrs. Isaac Njoro of P.O. Box 9872–00100, Nairobi. The assignment was undertaken to evaluate the structural condition of the house and provide practical remedies for post-construction defects that had been observed after completion. The assessment involved a detailed inspection of the building’s structural elements, including the foundation, walls, load-bearing members, and finishes, to determine the causes of the defects and their impact on the building’s stability and safety. As part of the project scope, the assignment specifically focused on conducting a comprehensive Structural Integrity Assessment to identify corrective actions that would restore the building’s performance and durability. Completed in 2020, the project provided the client with reliable technical guidance, ensuring that remedial works could be effectively implemented to safeguard the home, extend its lifespan, and preserve its long-term value.
