The project involved the design and construction supervision of pre-stressed steel tank towers constructed to serve boreholes at multiple institutions, namely Thika and Kimucu Primary Schools, as well as St. Teresa’s Girls School in Eastleigh. The objective was to provide sustainable and reliable water storage solutions to support the institutions’ daily water demands. The pre-stressed steel tank towers were designed to ensure durability, safety, and efficiency, with an emphasis on structural stability and long-term functionality. Our firm was responsible for the full scope of civil and structural services, which included preliminary design, detailed design, and comprehensive construction supervision. This ensured the project was delivered to the highest engineering standards while addressing the specific needs of each client institution. Commissioned by East African Engineering Consultants, the project was located in Nairobi and was successfully completed in 2020, providing lasting infrastructure that supports both learning and community welfare.
