The Upgrade of Fairfield Gardens Access Road to Bitumen Standards was a key infrastructure project aimed at improving connectivity and accessibility from Syokimau town to Fairfield Gardens. The project involved the full design and construction of the access road to bitumen standards, including the provision of associated drainage works to enhance durability, safety, and stormwater management. By upgrading the road, the development significantly improved transport efficiency, accessibility for residents, and long-term sustainability of the area’s infrastructure. Commissioned by Fairfield Gardens Development in association with PDN Nairobi, the project assignments included civil and structural preliminary design, detailed design, and comprehensive construction supervision to ensure compliance with engineering standards and successful delivery. Completed in 2020, the project now serves as a reliable and well-constructed transport link, contributing to improved mobility, supporting residential growth, and enhancing the overall value of Fairfield Gardens and its surrounding community.
